Tragic, Robert Enke (the best goalie Bundesliga 2009) Death Suicide
Hannover – German national team goalkeeper and Hannover 96, Robert Enke (32) was killed by hit by a train, Neustadt, Tuesday (10/11) at 18:25 local time. According to police, Enke deliberately threw himself to the tracks just before the train passed.
“Enke threw himself down on the train Neustadt am Ruebenberge,” the statement quoted Hannover police official club website.
So far, the motive of suicide is unknown. What is clear, AWD-Arena citizens grieve over this tragedy.
“You expect a lot of things, but not things like this. I do not know how and why this happened, but I do not think that this related to football,” said President Hannover 96, Martin Kind.
Enke has defended Hannover since 2004. Prior to defend Hanover, he had defended Tenerife, Fenerbache, Barcelona, Benfica, Borussia Moenchengladbach, and Carl Zeiss Jena. In addition, goalkeeper Enke also perform. He became the best goalie Bundesliga 2009.
