Six Club Not Agree with the suspension LFP

Madrid – Spanish Professional Football League (LFP) to prove his threat to strike compete due to discrepancies about television. But the plan was opposed six club members.

Six members are Sevilla, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Real Zaragoza and Real Sociedad. They filed a lawsuit to the Court of Madrid to prevent a strike actually occurs.

“(The strike) was not proportional, not profitable, contrary to the interests of the club, competition and the fans, and most of all, breaking the law,” Sevilla said in a statement quoted by Reuters.

As is known, the strike will be made ??to the game scheduled for the next 2 to 3 April. This strike could make the Spanish League (Division 1 and 2) the delay until June.

LFP strike is asking for rules that require at least one La Liga game being broadcast on free television. LFP think it was not fair for the club.

“This is not the right moment, from the political side, to make demands (strike). And what is more, should the pay due to all this is not a fan,” said Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido.

Minister Request Dialog
Responding to the strike, the Spanish Sports Minister Jaime Lissavetzky requested that the parties involved to use his senses. He warned that the challenged rule was approved a year ago without any objection.

Even so, Lissavetzky claimed is ready to listen to the demands of LFP and talk to resolve this issue.

Madrid – La Liga continued competition that was held on December 2 and 3 April next ascertained after LFP canceled their proposed ultimatum to realize that the strike. As a consequence, competition is threatened La Liga delayed until June.

These conditions make competition schedule in Spain was delayed and is expected to expire just three weeks from the original schedule. For La Liga, the competition which was originally completed in mid-May to mid-June retreat.
