Two of the most successful team in the history of the Champions League, Real Madrid and AC Milan, was one group in the main round of this season. The result of drawing in Monaco last night put the two European giants in the group G. This group can say to hell for two other contestants nor the team lightly. That is, Ajax Amsterdam and AJ Auxerre.

The rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan, also in the severe group. The defending champions had to against Werder Bremen, Tottenham Hotspur, and FC Twente.

Besides the competition between Europe’s top clubs who have subscribed to appear in the main phase of the Champions League debutant pace of interest to be observed. This season there are six new faces. Namely, Tottenham, Sporting Braga (Portugal), Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel), FC Twente (Netherlands), Bursaspor (Turkey), and MSK Zilina (Slovakia).

Of the six debutants, only Tottenham and Braga are not the country’s status in the league champions. But Tottenham made London recorded the passage of history with the record of Athens as a town with three representatives as well as on the main stage at the same season. London was represented by Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal. The same is carved through the 2003-2004 season Athens Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and AEK Athens.

From the sixth debutant, a name that is less familiar to the public is MSK Zilina and Bursaspor. Zilina listed as the third country of origin that penetrate the Slovak main round after MFK Kosice and FC Petrzalka.

Meanwhile, the passage of Bursaspor give new color for representing Turkey in the Champions League after all this time been dominated by Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce. Based on the UEFA coefficient rankings as of August 25, 2010, Bursaspor is the lowest-ranked contestants main stage (ranked 132).

Last season, the seven debutantes in the main rounds, five of them the status of the caretaker in each group. Interesting how the football lunge awaited six debutants this season.

The main round first leg Champions League will commence 14 September later. Only the two best teams in each group qualifying for the round of 16 eligible major. Well, in this knockout round, no limit games. It means that a team from one country can meet each other. This season the Champions League final will be held in the Wembley Stadium, London, on May 28, 2011.
