Blackburn players Affected by the Virus H1N1

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usBlackburn – The case of swine flu in the Premier League sticking again. Most recently, Blackburn Rovers camp admitted that the three players affected by the virus H1N1.

Blackburn manager, Sam Allardyce, confirmed to the media that this case happened to his club ahead of a meeting against Chelsea last weekend. Besides the three players, there are two other staff are also affected by swine flu. A total of five people who are sick.

One in five people are reported to the club doctor. While two of the three players who were expected to ill is Christopher Samba and David Dunn. Both are absent in action against Chelsea, but Allardyce will not agree this speculation.

“It’s swine flu. You can speculate about who’s got and I’ll let him,” he told to Sky Sports.

“We have several cases this morning, there was one more player and a pair of staff. In addition, the other two was in the recovery process, but will not be able to play tomorrow,” he said.

Blackburn was preparing to face Peterborough in the Carling Cup on Tuesday (10/27/2009) local time. But like Allardyce said, the players that the swine flu was not going to be played.

This is not the first time in the case of swine flu that compete against players in the Premier League. At the beginning of the season, Manchester City defender Micah Richards had been diagnosed with suffering. Richards later recovered and was grazed again.
